How To Cook

Step 1

Boil the water for the pasta as you prepare the ingredients. Salt the water when it starts to boil. Add the pasta and boil to Al Dante (about 6 minutes).

Step 2

Medium heat pan. Olive oil in. Then add chopped garlic, crimini mushroom, and shallot. Saute until brown.

Step 3

Turn to high heat, Add the remaining mushrooms. Saute until moist. Then add white wine, heat for 30 seconds.

Step 4

Turn to low heat, add the cream and pasta water. Slowly stir.

Bring the heat to high, mix in cooked pasta and simmer for 2-3 minutes.

Serve pasta on a plate or your favorite dish. Shred in the cheese, basil and black pepper.

Tips

Be gentle with wine.

Wine is sensitive and difficult to handle under high heat required for this dish. Try to understand the concept of heating off wine.
